Forgiveness is not something you can do in your own strength.

Forgiveness is not of human origin.

Forgiveness is not trust.

Forgiveness is not easy.

Forgiveness is not a feeling.

What Forgiveness Is

Forgiveness is setting a prisoner free and then discovering the prisoner was you.

Forgiveness is a gift from God, purchased at great price to Him.

Forgiveness is believing what God says.

Forgiveness is tearing up the IOU’s you hold.

Forgiveness is practicing the grace of God.

Forgiveness is obeying God from the heart.

Forgiveness is God’s area of expertise.

Forgiveness is giving up the right to revenge.

Forgiveness is letting go and letting God.

Forgiveness is an act of the will.
